I am a hypocrite.
How can I tell people about the truth of God when I have a hard time dealing with it myself.
Do you ever find that it is the simplest truths about Christianity that is the hardest to believe. Not that I feel this way all the time, because God has done work in my life. But still.. Like this common phrase ....trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Or do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow has enough worries of it's own....etc. They are so simple but so hard to actually put into practice. But ya, God is good...I do know that even if I am having a bad day. And I do know that God has rooted truths into my life, even if I fully do not understand them.

Ya . . . .Totally. . . Its hard lots of times. . .lots of people hate christians and call them hipocrytes. In some cases it's true. . .but i encourage you to strive to destroy you hypocracy. . .in whatever shape it takes.
I think that's the biggest tension we, as Christians, struggle with. At least you're honest about your struggles. I think the biggest form of hypocracy is pretending that you're the perfect Christian and not allowing others (even nonChristians) to see that you don't always know everything.
ya. . . .totally agree. There are too many Christians who will go to church but will also go to parties, get drunk, and do immoral things but still call themselves christians. "It's as if the world is a dance, we can chose how involved in the dance we are" - Pastor Dan Esau "the Amish. . . . they dont even know about the dance" We are also judged as christians by how much we partake in the dance. Not that there is anything wrong with the dance. . . .but just make sure you are dancing in the right manner.
